Organic Pongal Mix - Little Millet
Pongal or more commonly called Huggi is a popular dish in South India. It is a traditional dish of rice mixed with boiled milk and sugar. We at Aaha Oho have replaced rice with Millets to make it more nutritional and healthy. This Pongal Mix is made with Little Millet. Little Millet helps lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes, reduces chances of heart attacks, improves digestion, protects from breast cancer, protects childhood asthma.
Instructions for use:
- Add four cups of water for one cup of Pongal Mix.
- Soak for 10 minutes.
- Pressure cook until 3 whistles.
- Stir well.
- Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and add ghee. Mix well if needed. Add salt and mix well.
- Serve it hot with Sambar and/or Chutney or Avial. Enjoy the tasty and healthy variation of Pongal!
